Rev. Cox holds the degrees of Master of Divinity (Starr King School for the Ministry) and Master of the Art of Teaching (U.C. Berkeley) as well as two California teaching credentials. She has an extensive background in speaking, teaching, writing and workshop facilitation. She is certified as a dreamworker by the Institute of Advanced Archetypal Studies and has also studied at the Jungian-Senoi Institute. She is a graduate of Leadership School of the Pacific Central District of the Unitarian Universalist Association. She is also a Fellow of the National Writing Project (U.C.
