The Dreams of Women

May 11-13, 2012 (Fri. 5:00 p.m. to Sun. 11:00 a.m.)
Freestone Retreat, Sebastopol, CA
Led by Rev. Cat Cox

The focus of this weekend dreamwork retreat for women will be to explore the relationship between our nightly dreams and our ability to move into greater fulfillment of the dreams we hold for our lives.

Held at UUCB's beautiful Freestone Retreat, we will allow the power of our dreams to renew and inspire us—celebrating our lives as they have been, are now, and may yet be! Participation will be limited to 12 women. For more information, contact Rev. Cat by email or call 707-853-0009.

Here's a link to our Facebook page where I’m posting some ideas for  working with your dreams which you might enjoy whether or not you’re able to attend the retreat: https://www.facebook.com/events/279365598791517/

UU Church of Berkeley: Whose Are We? Sept 2011 - May 2012

On the 3rd Thursday of each month, from Sept. 2011 - May 2012, Rev. Cat will lead the evening program in a 9 part series: "Whose Are We?" at 7:30 p.m.

This highly interactive class series will lead participants into an expansive spiritual and theological exploration of the role of Unitarian Universalism as a faith community with a vision and mission in the world.  It will invite us to explore our individual spiritual calling in relation to that vision as well. What is our shared call? Who or what calls us?  What does it mean for UUs to live deeply and meaningfully into our shared vision?  What challenges do we encounter and what inspires us to move forward?  How do we find balance between our personal needs and service to our congregations and the world? How do we renew  ourselves on the journey?

This past church year,  Rev. Cat served as one of two co-presenters exploring this rich theme with the ministers of the Pacific  Central District.  This coming church year, an expanded version of this UUMA developed curriculum comes to UUCB. Each session will stand on its own as well as building through out the year. Join us!
